RETARDERS AND PROCESSING AIDS
Although almost all rubber compounds have activators, retarders are used sparingly. Activators have been described as substances that increase the effects of accelerators. Retarders are ingredients added to a stock to prevent its premature vulcanization under processing conditions.Â
Process aids will be considered to be the materials included in a mix primarily to reduce the time and energy required in breaking down the polymer. Stearic acid as a processing aid has a low solubility in many polymers and is not usually used at over 3 phr. It helps prevent compound from sticking to mill and calendar rolls. Probably the most common fatty acid soap used in rubber, zinc stearate most often serves as a surface coating for raw stock but can be used as an internal release agent. Zinc salts of unsaturated fatty acids, such as zinc oleate, are physical peptizers for natural rubber.

CRYSTAL POWDER CTP

EPDM CURING RETARDER V. E/C
92% Sulfonamide derivative with
6% inert filler and 2% oil
Performance retarder for the rubbers e.g. EPDM with multiple curing accelerators for improving scorching safety and compression set, suitable for automative EPDM profile continuous curing.

DBD
2,2’-dibenzamidodiphenyl disulphide
DBD is pure chemical peptizer for pure gum mastication, through with natural rubber (NR) is processed without carbon black at normal and higher temperatures.

BENZOTHIAZOLE
Raw material for DBD

HPP
Zinc salts of higher molecular fatty acids
Peptizing affects in NR and IR upward of 60 C. HPP decreases the viscosity of compounds based on NR resulting in an easier processing, with leads to higher extrusion rates, better dimensional stability and a stable die swell. Used in tire, molded and extruded articles of all types, hard rubber.

HT
Blend of zinc salts of higher molecular, mostly unsaturated fatty acids
Low melting processing promoter HT is more effective at all mill temperatures as low as 60 C. Suitable for low temperature continuous mixing and open mill mixing for tire, molded and extruded articles of all types, hard rubber.

HTX
Blend of zinc salts of mostly unsaturated fatty acids , fatty acid ester, and fillers
Low melting processing promoter HTX is moreeffective in high loading silica compound at mill temperatures as low as 60 C. Suitable for low temperaturecontinuous mixing and open mill mixing for silica tire and high loading silica rubber articles.

HA50
Unsaturated fatty acid zinc soap
HA50 is one kind of multi-application processing promoter. It has both inner and outer lubricating function, it can improve the rubber processing technology, can improve the qualified rate and rubber products dimensional stability. HA50 can peptize NR and SBR, after and sulfur the peptization process won’t stop. HA50 ca also improve curing rubber’s anti reversionresistance and heat resistance.

DBD
2,2’-dibenzamidodiphenyl disulphide
DBD is pure chemical peptizer for pure gum mastication, through with natural rubber (NR) is processed without carbon black at normal and higher temperatures.

H60EF
Blend of fatty acid derivatives
(predominantly zinc soaps)
H60EF is s newly designed processing additive for applications in natural and synthetic rubber. Due to its selected composition comprising fatty acid derivatives with different polarities, it provides excellent improvement of processing behaviour for a wide range of elastomers like NR, SBR, and EPDM.

HT254
Blend of N-substituted fatty acid amides
Zinc free tailored dispersant for high silica filled compounds, it may reduce the tendency of re-agglomeration of silica and maintain lower viscosity during compound storage without negative influence on cured viscoelastic dynamic properties.

HST
Blend of fatty acid ester, Zn soaps and fillers
HST is a dispersion promoter for high loading silica compounds, it shows excellent behaviour in silica/carbon black compounds. HST improves filler dispersion and reduces mixing and Mooney viscosities. HST increases scorch safety and reduces energy consumption in extrusion. Used in tire, folded and extruded articles of all types, hard rubber.

HT12
Blend of fatty acid esters and hydrocarbons bound to inactive fillersÂ
It provides a good dispersion of the ingredients in the rubber compound. Improves extrusion and calendering of compounds and improves mould release of vulcanizates.

HT16
Blend of calcium soaps and amides of saturated fatty acids
Process additive for al kinds of rubbers, especially good for mould flow and release. Improves the surface of finished rubber articles.

HT222
Saturated fatty acid ester
Highly effective processing and mould release for special rubbers NBR, CSM,ACM etc. Due to it has high temperature stability, it can be used in Microwave and UHF vulcanisation.
